Taylor Damitio

I founded Denver Therapy Collective with a deep commitment to creating an inclusive space where therapy comes from collaborative, genuine connection. I understand my responsibility to acknowledge and challenge my own perspectives, and I continuously educate myself on social and political issues that impact the wellbeing of my community. These are the core values of my practice, and I believe they are essential for every therapist.

In my office the client knows best and my role is to encourage meaningful exploration and vulnerability. Together we determine the best course of action and clients know I support their choices. In sessions my clients are met with warmth, humor, and grace. My professional approach is Person-Centered, Existential, and Solution-Focused. I am sex-positive, anti-racist, and gender-affirming. I work compassionately with all religious backgrounds, belief systems, and lifestyles.

I began my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2013 and completed my Master of Arts in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arizona in 2022. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I’ve completed Levels I and II of Gottman Method Couples Counseling and am comfortable working with relationships of all structures and sexualities. I am currently enrolled in Integrative Psychiatry Institutes Psychedelic Therapy Certification Program and upon completion will be eligible to apply for a psilocybin facilitator’s license from Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies.
